Dreams of Dali

EW and I finally went to the NGV on Monday for the Dali exhibition. It was spectacular. I felt really connected to his art because of their dreamlike quality. My absolute fave moment was the short movie Destino. In fact, it was so good, I made EW watch it with me again! Hehe... what are friends for eh?

The things I remember learning about him during the exhibition:
1) Dali's love and dependency on his wife Gala
2) the influence of Freudian psychoanalytic studies on Dali's art
3) the dreamlike and morphing images
